Christmas And Beyond
It went well for me! I went to Colorado, where my grandparent, aunt, uncle, and cousins are. Including the cousin who is now engaged. It was fun giving him marriage advice. Grandma gave the typical response- "LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!!!" But anyway, it was very snowy there, a rare change from my humid warm Texas life. We went sledding, only once, because I couldn't handle being that cold for very long. Snow got in all the places you don't want it! I performed a perfect backwards somersault into my sled at one point, and then kept sliding down. That wasn't exactly fun.
I mostly got makeup and clothes for Christmas. I am such a girl. But it makes me happy. And lots of composition books for journaling. And for my birthday, which is the day after Christmas, ice-skating and an attempt at a flashmob at the mall! Flashmobs are hard to put together, but we only had six people to do it, so instead we sang. That is the most nerve-wracking thing ever, to stand in front of strangers and belt out a song, especially since they're not expecting it like at a concert. But my kind cousins, they humored me since it was my special day.
On another note, I went to Panera Bread with a college friend for the first time today. Their French onion soup is the best! TRY IT!!!!!
