I Hate 80's Day

My goodness, there is nothing that annoys me more than those "everyone-dress-up-as-the-same-thing-on-the-same-day" events. They get so old!! Every year, at least two are the same: nerd day and 80's day. On nerd day, almost every girl wears some random long socks, suspenders, and 3D-glasses frames to play the part. But the one thing they are all missing, IN MY OPINION, is the hair! Obviously the right thing to do would be to part it down the middle, right? But no, they all pretend to be oblivious to that little detail because then they would actually look like dorks. This fantasized "geek" look is so outdated, it makes me sick!
But what upsets me even more is 80's day. This may seem rude, but it should be said. Every girl thinks they are so cute in their bright tights and bright shorts and scrunched hair and cut-up sweaters and headbands and legwarmers, but when every single female walking down the hallway is an explosion of color, don't you think you would be sick too?
I, for one, don't like to dress up. But other than these two ideas, I don't care if other people do. It just seems so wrong to me to have a day like Halloween, only with guidelines saying we must all wear generally the same thing.
Still wondering if it bothers anyone else.
