1, 2, 3, BEAT DAWSON!!!

That is what the marching band chants after marching practice everyday. At the Area contest, we got second place to Dawson High School, and so far this season, we haven't beaten them once. But there's always hope. In their marching show, every time they play something hard, they stop moving so they sound good. But if we can figure out how to play well while moving, and do it better than them, then it's a done deal. We all know our marching show is way tougher and more complex than theirs, it's just a matter of performing well. I know it may seem silly, but I feel like since we're the underdogs, that means we are the good guys and they're the bad guys that we will beat in the end. Let's just hope fate thinks the same way.
Here is a trailer for our marching show.
It makes us seem so epic and so professional! Crazy. The final State marching contest is in about a week. I'm psyched, and scared, and excited, and worried. I'm hoping I am trying as hard as I can to do everything right, but sometimes it can get away from you, and you forget how much you need to focus. But even though it may seem a dumb reason, I pray for us to do our best and for everyone to remember all they have to do in the show. I'm not sure if that counts as a legitimate reason for prayer, but it can't hurt.
