Born This Way? NO EXCUSE!

I just now thought of this. So one of Lady GaGa’s songs, which has really turned more into her anthem, is called “Born This Way”, which defends people being the way they are, unapologetically. Now, that could be a positive message for the most part, but the main “way” she’s referring to is homosexuality. I do not believe that anyone was born homosexual, but even if I did, I could also say that I was born in sin, like every other human, and that that can justify my sinning all my life. I was born a selfish baby, wanting everything I see (again, how every baby is) so that’s reason enough for me to go after whatever I want even if it means stealing, right? Because I was BORN that way. Yeah… being born in some way does not set a precedent for how we live our lives. Babies are born lazy (not doing anything for themselves), stupid (not knowing how to do anything), and selfish. So in the strictest sense, Lady Gaga is justifying crime. Way to go girl. You’re empowering the masses.
