ORIGINAL IDEA

Although there are many ways to spell some names, I've realized that with the name 'Taylor', you can replace  the O with any vowel, or Y, and it will still be pronounced the same way. Just try to see how you would say these:
Taylar
Tayler
Taylir
Taylor
Taylur
Taylyr
That last one's pretty weird, but the principle stands. How crazy is this?
On another note entirely, it is Halloween, and I am home alone. I am The Candy Giver. And though it's been two hours on the job, only once have I opened the door. It's probably because our porch light is out, and even though the dining room and hall lights are on, it's safe to assume that the house doesn't look too inviting to trick-or-treaters. Which makes me kind of sad, but also liberated. I am not really in the holiday spirit, the fact being that I consider myself too old to go out and ask adults (with whom I am now competing on the work force) for candy as if I'm some youth that gets my happiness from sugar still. But for some reason, my peers do not share the sentiment. Have I let go of my childhood too soon, or is the real reason that I'm worried about temptation and my weight? I believe the latter.
