Junior Year!
I'm so bad about posting. But this school year has hit me like a storm, and brought with it all the work I could ever dream of! Hallelujah!! I have almost no time to myself, save for the weekends, and even then, projects, practicing clarinet, chores. I suppose this would be what adult life is like- work all the time? I am getting the hang of it, though. And I'm getting better at not procrastinating, which I think a lot of people do. My one regret? Not ever getting the chance to exercise. And now, the muffin top has returned. Dear old friend, good to see you again. With the marching practice schedule, I hardly have time to do all my homework in one night, much less do exercise. But I'm sure every band geek out there has the same sentiment. Now, if you don't live in the United States, and even if you don't live in Texas, you might not get this, but Texas high schools are extremely competitive when it comes to marching band, so much so that there is a restriction on the number of hours a week a band can practice. We take it very seriously here. So naturally, it takes up a lot of our time. But hey, no regrets about that.
